Hello, my name is Lewstone Blank and welcome to Lewstone Live. To introduce you Lewstone is a country in the middle Lake Michigan. The main cities are Lewstone, which is the biggest, Jackiestown, and Stevesburg. All automobiles in Lewstone are powered by air, and everything is free, if you do your 4 hours a day 3 days a week. Lewstone the country has 10 million people, and Lewstone the city alone makes up half of the population. The president and lady president are the founders of Lewstone are Lew and Jackie Blank. A big thing going on now is the Summer playoffs-football, basketball, and baseball. Let’s listen to Alex Warholic, Jackie Blank, Ryan Gebert, and Cozette Cao on this. Now you, Alex

The teams are Lewstone Ice Paws, Stevesburg Tigers, Lost Angelas Giraffes, Jackiestown Slangdogs, Grandmastown 82’s, Candyland Tea Drinkers, Cindy City Cobra’s, Martys town Sleepers, Rico World Ruffies, Jordan City Snakes, Parker’s town Rhino’s, Kimstown Black Bears, Lewstone Cheetahs, Lost Angelas Barbarians, Papas Ville Scorers, Nana Magick, Jodi Jofa’s, Jake World Hippos, Siddle Killers, Ashley Diapers, Jackiestown Armadillos, Rick Rockers, Maggie Madmen, and the Momo City Goblins. In baseball in Division Blank 1, which consists the Tigers, Ice Paws, and Giraffes will have the most excitement. The Tigers and Ice Paws have the best records in the whole league. They are tied, 72-21, 8 more games to go! The Tigers just lost a stupid easy game against the sleepers, 3-2. It’s plain dumb to act like idiots in the outfield and jokers at bat! I think there will need to be a playoff game, and Paws vs. Barbarians in the World Series. In basketball it’s Paws, Bears, Ruffies, and Slangdogs in the Blank Division. In West, it’s Cheetahs, Jofa’s, Hippos, and Madmen! I think it’s going to be Paws vs. Cheetahs in the Championship! And in football it’s only the Paws! They’ve had an excellent year with Wide Receiver, QB, and cornerback Lew Blank, Tight End James kitgheovew and Linebacker Mark Ploopy. I think it’ll be Paws vs. Hippos in the playoffs…. now to you Jackie!

Just yesterday a man was drinking and driving. Then he killed many people at the 4^th Colition of Peace. You are not allowed to drive drunk or kill men. We have not figured out a punishment yet for people doing the wrong thing. Nobody has done anything bad enough in Lewstone to have a punishment. But this breaks many laws. There are very few laws and they all make sense. You cannot have a war or use pollution and energy that’s not solar or air powered, and he broke both laws. Those are major laws. Take it away, Lew!

To get the details in, he killed 13 men. His name is Jack Tovnknkjiks. It is hard to stop him because he somehow had a gun, and we aren’t allowed to use them. Now I will radio Ryan Gebert and Cozette Cao like I did with Alex Warholic and Jackie Blank. Ryan and Cozette will talk about the two plan ideas for punishment being discussed

One plan is to make him work 7 hours a day and 5 days a week for the rest of the year. I think it’s a good punishment because it’s doable and will make him work hard. It will make him so happy from doing 35 hours a week and back to 12 hours a week. If Plan #1 won’t work, we’ll use Cozettes plan, Plan #2!

Plan #2 is about sending him out of Lewstone for a half year. He will be working big time and miss his own country so much, he’ll be dying to come back.

I’m a crazy farmer man

Got milk but got no syrup

My pants right now are really saggin’

I just use a nuclear reactor

I ride 52 miles to buy a hammer

I got no money so they took me to the slammer

Escaped and buggied to the farm

When officers caught me I shot ‘em with my free arm

My Wranglers are way to large

I leave my trash in my garage

Me and my butt, camouflage

My favorite thing is to harvest corn

It’s so fun, I work till my pants are completely torn (off)

At 4:30 I milk my cows

During the fall I get out the plows

Lights dim; hair ain’t a trim

All my milk is not 1 or 2% whole or skim

09 Vacation!

On August 16, 2009, I flew from Chicago to Boston. Then I drove to Franconia New Hampshire. We stayed at the Franconia Inn. The Franconia Inn had an outdoor pool, a nice resturant, tennis, arcade, horseback riding, biking, and darts. At 5:00 we arrived, and went to our small room. We also went for a swim in between the pool and hot tub and ate a fancy meal. On August 17, I decided to go to a place called Franconia Notch State Park. There, we took the Lonesome Lake Trail. It was a steep hike, because we were in the mountains, and my family climbed all the way up (a good 1,000 feet.) Finally we reached Lonesome Lake, a lake on a mountain. After an hours hike, I took a swim to cool off. I was also looking forward to seeing the magnificent waterfalls I’d heard about. Since the Lonesome Lake trail ended, we took a different trail. We walked down a trail of wet, slippery rocks, and hurt my knee. After a while we came to a stream, the first water we’d seen so far other than the lake. I held my hands on the rocks and put my knees in a tiny waterfall (about 1 foot.) It was so fun! Then we continued on the trail. It had already been about 3.5 hours! We came to a place called Glen Falls. It was a fast waterfall and really fun. It did a hilarious dance! After 4.5 hours, we reached a fun stream we put our feet in. This is where we lost the trail. After another 30 minutes of walking by the water, on what we thought was the right trail, the trail suddenly ended. We climbed down a cliff and hopped across rocks on the river until we came to a trail on the other side. We walked for a while and after 6.5 hours total, we finally finished our hike. “I’m not coming here again,” I said. “Not for a million dollars, a thousand dollars, a hundred dollars, and not even a dollar!” It was really funny! Then, on the 18th, we did a thing called the Cog Railway. It was a railroad built up Mt. Washington, 6,288 feet! It was built in 1869, and they used the train cars from back then too. After getting to the top of the mountain, I almost went on a rocky trail when my mom told me that 113-1,000 of the people who did it died, according to the death rates 11%. I disagreed, but then she proved it. We went back down. That night, I went biking. I felt like somebody punched me in the guts when a yellow sign said: “WATCH FOR BEARS.” Well that totally freaked me out, but no bear attacked me on the ride. August 19 was the last day in New Hampshire. We had to leave at 11:00. From 8-9 we went horseback riding on Rocky, the best horse ever! I had a lot of fun! Then from 9-10 I went to Robert Frosts 1905-1920 home, and the “Poetry Trail,” a nature trail with his most famous poems on it. Last, from 10-12 I did the Flume Gorge, an awesome giant very wet waterfall. Also, on the Flume Gorge in Franconia Notch State Park, I went to Bear Cave, along the Flume Trail, and Wolf Cave! Then I was on the road to Montreal!

We went to Montreal and stayed in a hotel called LaAppartamon, because it’s a French speaking place. The hotel had large multiple rooms, a giant indoor pool, and awful elevators that were always busy. On August 20th we celebrated my dad’s birthday! I made him a birthday song.

That day I also got city passes for 33 musees (museum in French.) 33 of them! First I went to the Centres des Sciences de Montreal (Montreal Science Center.) I saw a show called aqua, about how every drop counts. Plus, I learned about Filter Straws, straws that have filters in them so you can drink out of dirty rivers. Next, I went to Biosphere de Montreal (Montreal Biosphere.) It was a musee inside a hexagontal sphere. In the museum, I did a cool thing where you put your head in a little hole and a camera takes a video of you, while you go to the ocean, snowstorm, teapot, blender, sewage, beach, and more. We also went to a show about how to protect the environment. On August 21, I went to the Biodome de Montreal (Montreal Biodome.) It had 4800 animals, and 230 species. The climates were tropical rainforest, northern, arctic, and Madagascar. My favorites were big rats, parrots, fish, birds, penguins, and lemurs. Next I went to Mont Royal, a fun park. There I did swan rides, popsicles, and played. Then I went to Montreal Musee de Contemporary Artee (Montreal Museum of Contemporary Arts) and we saw the whole museum it was so small! On August 22, I went to the Archaeology Musee. It was very fun. I saw a pirate exhibit with a replica of a pirate ship. I also saw the Montreal Movie, and how the Musee used to be an 1800′s fort. Later, I went to the Botanical Gardens, a giant garden. The Chinese Gardens were impressive. They had chinese buildings, carp, and a lot of signs about their culture. It was really beautiful. After I went to the japanese garden, I went to the Insectarium. I hated it. You had it from gross dead bugs to giant beehives. I wanted to go after 5 seconds, but we ended up staying there for 30 minutes! Then, still in the gardens, I went to the Sense Gardens- with plants you can smell, see, and touch. It was fun! After that, I was off to the Pemi Cabins and Boston!

On August, 23, after driving from Montreal back to New Hampshire, we ended up in the Pemi Cabins, 10 miles from Franconia! First I tried fishing. I got the bait on the hook, but no fish were out in the rain. Then we went Mini Golfing at Hobo Hills! I lost by 2 stokes, but had lots of fun. Later, we went to Thai 9 in Littleton, NH. We went back to our tiny cabin and went to bed, our dreams all on Boston.

On August 24, we checked into the Royal Sonesta hotel, a very nice one, too. It had an indoor/outdoor pool, free cookies, and nice rooms. First we went to the Science Museum. I did a pitching and running game, learned about old cars, and saw cameras stuck onto animals heads, showing what they do. When we went back to the hotel, I went for a swim. The pool was really warm and perfect for “split-stands.” On the 25th, my family went to the Freedom Trail. The Freedom Trail is a place that takes you to historic places from the American Revolution. A funny tour guide lead the way! We first went to the Boston Common, a historic site. The guy told us all about the Revolution, but I knew all of it! A battle was fought there. Then we went to the Old State House. It was the old Boston capitol, where G Washington and others have stood. Next, I went to the Park St. Church and saw what a church was like in the 1760-70′s. Fourth, I went to the Grainary Burial Grounds. I saw Paul Reveres, Samuel Adams, and many other peoples graves. Next I went to the Kings Chapel Church, where Paul Revere went. It was expensive to buy a seat. Sixth, I went to more burial grounds outside of the church. Also I went to the Boston Massacre Museum. Then I went to Faneuil Hall, where many things happened. I also went to the famous Old North Church and the Memorial Garden. Tenth and last, I went to the Bunker Hill Monument. I climbed to the top and learned about it’s history. That same day I went to the New England Aquarium, and saw seals making human noises, men feeding sharks and a lot of fish! Also I went to the Boston Art Museum and saw amazing pictures and Mummies! On August 26, I went to Plymoth Plantation. They showed the Wampanog Indians and English settlers struggling to survive. They had Wampanog Indian decendents and the English Pilgrim actors talk about their lives in the 1600′s. Also, The Mayflower II, a replica of the Mayflower, had actors from 1620, and it was right next to the John Alden Gift Shop, and John Alden was related to me and was on the Mayflower. Awesome! Also, I went to Cape Cod, Old Silver Beach, and jumped many waves. It was really fun! On August 27, 2009, I took the Freedom Trail self-tour and then went to a Red Sox vs. White Sox game. In the top of the second, the score 0-0, the Sox hit a homer and had a total score of 4 runs. 4-0 White Sox, my favorite team, top 3, the W Sox scored 4 more, to make it 8-0 White Sox. In top 4, the White Sox scored 1 more, to make it 9-0 CWSox. I cheered “Let’s go White Sox let’s go” and a swarm of 20 crazy (like them all) Red Sox fans yelled “Let’s go Red Sox let’s go.” The Red Sox hit back to back solo shots, scored 3 runs, and in Bottom 9, 9-5, the WS pitcher threw a ball and the Red Sox fans were so desperate the erupted with cheering, even though the ball only made it a 2-2 count! With a great catch the White Sox, my favorite team, won the game 9-5! Yes! We returned our Chevy Cobalt after leaving Fenway and on August 28, 2009, I flew from Boston back home to Chicago, drove over to Rockford, to get Jackie at Papa and Nanas, spent the night there, and on August 29, 2009, I returned home to end my 2009 vacation. “Hello, today’s big story on SportCenter is a Little League baseball team. These 9 and 10 year-olds live near Madison, Wisconsin, and are an outstanding 5th Grade team. Their record is 13-1, but that’s not all. 2 games in a row, an unbelievable thing has happened. The Middleton Bluers had 9 up, 9 in in their 9 batters per inning. They once beat a team 21-5 in 6 innings. And to help us with explaining this, a parent named Steve Blank, the father of one of the stars, Lew Blank, is coming in.”

“Thank you! On the last game Lew went 3-3, and when the game was tied, his friend Liam scored with a triple and a tag-up. To expand the lead, Lew hit an RBI single, and the Bluers won 13-9 against the 2nd best team. Everybody was so wild!”

“Yes. How did your son help the team.”

“He was a great pitcher. He threw 2 no-run innings in one game, and without the errors, in 9 innings, I think Lew’s ERA would be around 4 or 5. Also, he hit a 3-run inside the park home run. Also, he made an awesome diving catch at First Base. He was a great all-around ball player.”

COME TO WISCONSIN

WISCONSIN DELLS

If you are a tourist in Wisconsin you should surely come to the Wisconsin Dells. Take the “Ducks” through the river. There are great scenic views such as the towering rocks. Very high up, these rocks are big and beautiful. You can also see a very tall and pretty view. But, maybe you’re not into nature. You can go to the many water parks there. Probably the best water park is Noah’s Ark.

Noah’s Ark is America’s largest water park. It is located on Hwy 12 and near Hwy 90-94. I will show you the top 10 things to do there.

#10 Point of No Return

The Point of No Return is a slide going over 150 feet high. Go straight down in 3 seconds.

#9 Black Thunder

The Black Thunder has a slide called “Witches Gulch” where there is a big drop. Also, there’s a “Twin Twister” has many curves.

#8 Sting Ray

The Sting Ray is a thing where you go up and down on a fake sting rays back. Only for doubles!

#7 The Wave

In a giant wave pool, listen to live music and more!

#6 Flash Flood

“It’s as great to watch it as to do it.” Flash Flood goes really fast and you get splashed with water on and off the ride.

#5 Time Warp

The Time Warp takes you through time in America’s largest bowl ride.

#4 Mini Golf

Their mini golf is very good. It’s 5 stars.

#3 Curse of the Crypt

The Curse of the Crypt has flashing lights with mummy’s. Also, there’s a ride where you almost go upside down, a bunch of skeletons, and a lot more fun and scary things.

#2 4D Dive In Theater-Now Playing Spongebob

You know 3D, right. But let’s take another step. 4D has mini whips, water spraying, bubbles, and that’s while you’re watching Spongebob in 4D!

#1 Black Anaconda

America’s longest waterslide in ¼ of a mile long. Many drop offs and pitch-black moments.

CAPITOL

The capitol is the tallest state capitol in the U.S. at almost 300 feet. It is in Madison, and you can go to the top. There is beautiful artwork and badgers, our state animal!
